Is the website really free?
Yes. Design and development within the agreed scope are free for selected businesses. The free build requires hosting with me. You pay for your domain and hosting. Source code, extra features, and ongoing maintenance are separate paid options, agreed before you decide.
Who can apply?
Small businesses that need a first website or a simple replacement can apply. This programme suits service businesses with a clear offer and business details ready to share. I’ll select three projects based on fit with the scope and readiness to provide content.
What isn’t included?
Online shops, payments, custom applications, membership systems, booking integrations, branding, paid tools, and ongoing maintenance are outside this offer. We’ll confirm exclusions before starting.
Do I need to host with you?
Yes. Hosting with Milan is a condition of the free design and development offer. Domain and hosting are paid separately. We’ll confirm the price, billing schedule, renewal costs, and hosting terms before you commit. Maintenance beyond hosting is optional and agreed separately.
How long will it take?
We’ll agree a timeline once you’re selected and your content is ready. Applying does not reserve a launch date or guarantee a place.
Can I get the source code?
Yes, for an additional fee. Source code is not included in the free build. We’ll agree the price and handover terms before you buy it. Third-party tools and assets remain subject to their own licences.
